Summer beers

Over at Hedonist Beer Jive, Jay has compiled a list of good sommer beer tasted this year. Check it out on the above link to his post.

Let's check the list out:

If I compiled a list like that, it would look wierd, because I have a lot of strong beers and not anything summer-like. Danish microbrew and craft brews would clear the score table. In fact i drank only my own beer yesterday. I had a Dark Czech Lager, a red ale, a porter and a couple of pale ales.

Thanks for the link and good words. I'm definitely curious as to what beer Denmark has to offer; given the proximity to Germany there has to be some excellent local brands? I only remember drinking English beers my one night in Copenhagen....

A lot has happned in the danish beer scene the last couple of years. Now a brewery open just about every month. This is a high rate considering that we are only 5.5 million people in Denmark. The development, will of cause wear off when the market is saturated. I believe the the first brewery will go bankrupt within a year. The competition is geting harder by the minute.

http://www.olfabrikken.dk/content/main.aspx is a good suggestion, they dare to brew extreme.
