Mike's facts about Ølfabrikken

Today I stumbled upon the blog of Mike, the head brewer at Gourmetbryggeriet. Yesterday he made a post about the purchase of Ølfabrikken. It contains a good timeline of events leading up to the purchase, and a special greeting to this blog :-)

Well Jens, I figured if you can play the voice for Christian's fabrications about GB, create panic about Ølfabrikken ending and then give attention to another brewer's opinon who hasnt a clue what really happened, then should I not be able to say what I saw really happen?

I did my due deligence on it, I saw pay slips to all ØF employees which were paid over the last six months, I saw Christian's attemps to ask GB to give the share holders new shares in the new ØF, unfortunaltly if that was agreed on then our CEO would be out of a job. I see huge bills unpaid from long ago from ØF. the list goes on.
We even brewed a "I'm sorry beer" for the investors as requested by CSA, but after his actions we arent feeling so generous. So we'll just sell it now. He can buy it at cost if he really wants it.

Business isnt supposed to be friendly and nice. And brewing beer is a business no matter which way you want to cut it.

You are in your good right to tell the story. I do respect that you did. Truth is a 'funny' thing. Your truth or mine are different from everybody else's. There is no objectivity, only different more or less faulty observations on the illusive 'truth', which is why I promoted your post.

Sounds interesting with "I'm sorry beer" do you have any idea what the name will be when it hits the stores?
